Apryll Aileen is a unique passionate songbird. A classically trained pianist, both a singer and a songwriter, she has blessed the ears of thousands of listeners and awed audiences as her fingers graced the grand piano ivory keys.
Apryll has been successful in getting radio play for two of her songs “Butterflies” and “Hey Sugar” (the latter being added to radio rotation). She has also had success in TV sync placements – three of her songs will be airing this Winter on the Family Channel.
As a teenager, Apryll traveled to Ukraine for piano master classes. Her classical background has helped develop her sound. Her soulful lyrics bring a vibe of authenticity.
In a short amount of time, Aileen has already played at top East Coast venues such as the Imperial Theatre in Saint John, NB, the Carleton Music Bar & Grill in Halifax and The Bitter End in New York City. In April 2016, she completed a tour across the states playing in Maine, New York, Savannah, New Orleans, Los Angeles & San Francisco.
A few months after winning Battle of the Arts NB, Aileen released her debut album "Savannah Soul" produced by Toronto based Kenny Munshaw. The album came to fruition after the two recorded the song "Butterflies" for a film by Emmy Award Winning Director Cayman Grant.
