Gerald Coleman is a tenacious east coast drummer who lives to elevate people through music. He was raised in Newfoundland, the youngest in a drumming family and was immersed in performance from an early age. His experience and versatility have taken him to perform on stages across Canada including opening for acts such as Dan Mangan, Bahamas, Yukon Blonde and Hey Rosetta!. He is a passionate creator and collaborator and has showcased works with original bands at national and regional music conferences.
Now calling Halifax home, Gerald teaches music and performs both freelance and as a member in multiple bands. He is a regular student with Mark Adam of Acadia University and recently attended Gerry Granelli's creative music workshop during the Halifax Jazz Festival.
