Born in Halifax, NS, Canada, Singing & Songwriting has always been a passion for Jocelyn that began at an early age, and she continues to grow and improve her style of songwriting in the Country/Folk/Americana genre.

Jocelyn has been influenced by many musical artists beginning with Patsy Cline, to Shania Twain, reaching to today’s new styles of artists such as Carolyn Dawn Johnson to Miranda Lambert and Lady Antebellum, just to name a few.

In the beginning of her career, Jocelyn was the active Executive Board Treasurer for SANS (Songwriters Association of Nova Scotia) and began showcasing her songs to a live crowd and continued to hone her craft as a songwriter and singer.

In September, 2013, Jocelyn was the runner-up in the 2013 Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Talent Competition that included talent from across the country.

In October, 2013 Jocelyn was invited to perform a tribute to the 50th Anniversary of Patsy Cline’s tragic passing at the prestigious 9 Mile River Country Jamboree’s 15th Annual Cancer Research Fundraiser Event.

In June, 2014 Jocelyn returned from Nashville, Tennessee where she recorded an EP of her original songs at WarnerWorks Studio. Under the direction of producer Bill Warner her songs were fine tuned to her original sound and has since been released to the public.

In August, 2014 her song “Running Back Home” was debut on 105.9 Seaside FM.

Currently Jocelyn continues to grow and improve her songwriting skills and she continues to showcase and receive bookings for live performances and is growing a fan base both in Canada and the US, and continues to expand throughout the globe.
