Quiet Parade
Quiet Parade - How Come You Never Call (Or Write)?
Genre: Pop-Rock

Voted Best Band to Enjoy Quietly for the last four years by The Coast's Best of Music Reader's Poll, Quiet Parade is a bleeding-heart pop-rock band from Halifax, NS that performs instrospective, fog-laden songs about long-standing ghosts, lingering memories, and living history.

Their last album, a five-song EP titled Old Haunts, was produced by award-winning producer Daniel Ledwell and earned the band two Music Nova Scotia Award nominations - Group Recording of the Year, Alternative Recording of the Year - as well as a slew of critical acclaim from journalists such as CBC's Bob Mersereau who called the album "a feast of beauty, shrouded in a little fog," and outlets such as Chicago-based blog Consequence of Sound who praised the band's "lovely, understated and adept melodies," and Live Music Guide who simply called the EP "beautiful and honest."

This summer, the band returned to the studio with Ledwell to record a full-length album, due out in 2015.
