The ECMA is thrilled to present the 30th anniversary celebration of the East Coast Music Awards: Festival and Conference and the 17th edition of the International Export Buyers Program in Halifax, Nova Scotia from May 2-6.

The ECMA International Export Buyers Program creates and builds export business development for ECMA members by providing opportunities to connect with music industry delegates from around the world. Who do you want to connect with to advance your career and to develop business opportunities at ECMA 2018?

It is estimated that business negotiations from the 2017 event resulted in more than 15 international booking agent / promoter signings, 316 confirmed shows, 55 International festival booking contracts, 141 Canadian festival bookings, 90 international tours, 20 film and television licensing deals, 2 label / publicity releases and 10 showcasing and touring business development opportunities.

Some of the world’s leading music industry experts and international buyers will be taking part in ECMA 2018, including delegates from the United States, Europe, Australia and Canada. To further YOUR international and domestic export activity, ECMA is requesting assistance in identifying key delegates for consideration for the 2018 International Export Buyers Program.

These music industry representatives will include talent buyers, promoters, booking agents, venue and festival programmers, film and television music supervisors, sync agents, distribution partners/ labels, and presenting organizations from a diverse range of music genres and music sectors.
