ECMA Announces East Coast Music Aficionado Program
The East Coast Music Association has recently announced the creation of The Aficionado Program, an initiative that will support the music industry and musicians of Atlantic Canada. This new program will welcome patrons of the arts community to contribute to the East Coast Music Association to ensure the association can continue to foster, develop and grow the music industry of Atlantic Canada.
"The ECMA Aficionado Program goes far beyond a standard sponsorship. We feel this is a excellent way to recognize organizations that embrace and invest in East Coast music - one of our greatest exports," says ECMA Executive Director Andy McLean.
The first East Coast Music Aficionado is City Printers Ltd, a member of the JONELJIM GROUP, from Sydney, Nova Scotia. City Printers will donate $10,000 to this initiative. Gary Chant, MECO Contstruction - DKI, Newcap Radio, and Northern Contracting Limited have also joined as Aficionados.
“We are pleased that City Printers Ltd’s contribution of $10,000 will help our Cape Breton and other East Coast musicians keep their companies in our region while they export their music around the globe,” says Scott Boyd, GSM, City Printers Ltd.
Aficionado Entitlements include:
- A one of a kind up close and personal concert presentation by one of our ECMA nominees. You may choose to do a backstage dinner and concert during East Coast Music Week, you may wish to have a private event at your home or at some unique venue during ECMW. We provide the artist and the sound production and ideas for unique venues.
- A coveted ECMA awards and a special Aficionado pin
- A VIP table of 10 at the ECMA Awards Gala
- VIP all access front of the line passes for ECMW Sydney
- Your contribution will be recognized at the Gala and the Industry Awards by the host of both events
