ECMA, CIMA, CMW and BreakOut West Present Canadian Blast at Australian Music Week 2017
The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) in partnership with the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA), Canadian Music Week (CMW), BreakOut West (BOW) and the Canadian Consulate of Australia will host this year's Canadian Blast at Australian Music Week.
The Canadian Blast Showcase will take place on Friday, November 3rd at the Brass Monkey in Cronulla and will feature showcase performances by some of Canada’s finest exporting talent. Showcasing artists selected by Australian Music Week include:
- Dylan Menzie (ECMA)
- Paper Lions (ECMA)
- Terra Lightfoot (CIMA/CMW)
- Amy Nelson (CIMA/CMW)
- Twin Peaks (BreakOut West)
- Louise Burns (BreakOut West)
“Over the last number of years ECMA has strategically focused on creating new business opportunities and partnerships in the Australian music market cultivated through the annual ECMA International Export Buyers Program”, says Export Manager Shelley Nordstrom. “ECMA’s strategic reciprocal exchange partnership with Australian Music Week continues to provide an excellent exporting showcase platform and market access to a large network of presenters and music buyers from around the world”.
