The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) is excited to present the 33rd annual celebration of the East Coast Music Awards in Sydney Nova Scotia from May 5-9, 2021. This year, we will present a hybrid event offering a virtual International Export Buyers Program and industry conference, Our Music Means Business.

Over 100 international delegates from the United States, France, Denmark, Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, Australia, Scotland, the United Kingdom and Canada will participate in the digital edition of the ECMA 2021 Export Buyers Program.

“With the current climate and world situation, we are focused on assisting our artists and industry through this transition period and creating new business opportunities for our members in Canadian and international markets, says Shelley Nordstrom, Export Manager for the ECMA. “Now in its 19th year, the ECMA Export Buyers Program has become the leading export business development forum for the Atlantic Canadian music industry and delivers millions of dollars in annual revenue for East Coast artists and companies. This international marketplace offers a multitude of opportunities for our members and builds long term relationships with international and Canadian booking agents, presenters, promoters, festival and venue programmers, sync agents, music supervisors, publishers, and media from around the world.”

The ECMA 2021 Industry Conference presented by TD will spotlight the popular Music in Motion: Film, Television & New Media SYNC Summit and will feature a series of high level online conference sessions to help prepare industry professionals and companies with the insight to expand their career and business opportunities in the world of film, television, advertising and music supervision.
