ECMA announces first slate of 2023 East Coast Music Award winners tonight!

(Halifax, NS) - Fifteen 2023 East Coast Music Awards (ECMAs) were announced tonight at the 35th annual East Coast Music Awards presented by Rogers at the Scotiabank Centre in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The show was broadcast live across the Rogers’ network and online via ECMA.com around the world.

In addition, Myles Goodwyn was inducted to the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in a special presentation by Lennie Gallant, and featuring an incredible performance including Jimmy Rankin, Nick Earle, Christine Campbell and Colin MacDonald.

The ECMA’s have additionally announced that Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island will host the 36th annual East Coast Music Awards: Festival & Conference from May 1 - 5, 2024.
The remaining 40 ECMA Awards will be handed out this Sunday, May 7 at 11 a.m., at the East Coast Music and Industry Awards Part II, taking place at the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. The show will be streamed live on ECMA.com.

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) is a regional collaboration of people in the music industry of Atlantic Canada that fosters, develops, and celebrates East Coast music and its artists locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. The ECMA annually produces the ECMAs, one of the top music industry events in Canada, which includes an Award Show, a Festival, an Industry Conference, and the International Export Buyers Program.

La ECMA a également annoncé que la 36ème édition des East Coast Music Awards, le festival et ses conférences, se dérouleront sur l’Île-du-Prince-Édouard, à Charlottetown, du 1er au 5 mai 2024.
Les 40 prix restants seront remis ce dimanche 7 mai à 11h00 durant le East Coast Music and Industry Awards Part II, qui prendra lieu au Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel. Cette cérémonie sera diffusée en direct sur ECMA.com

L'Association de la musique de la côte Est (ECMA) est une collaboration régionale entre plusieurs personnes de l’industrie de la musique du Canada Atlantique, qui encourage, développe et célèbre la musique de la côte Est, ainsi que ses artistes localement, régionalement, nationalement et internationalement.
