ECMA’s New Membership Program
This holiday season, we're giving the gift of better membership! We are excited to share our updated membership program with increased features and a more user friendly approach.
As of December 5, 2022, ECMA is pleased to launch our updated Membership Program. In partnership with Membee, we’ve enhanced and updated our existing membership to give our members more functions on an easier to use platform.
If you have an active membership with ECMA, your account has already been brought over to the new platform. You will be sent an email to set up your new password to login to your new profile. If you’ve been thinking about becoming a member, now is a great time!

UPDATES TO EXISTING FEATURES:
Membership Directory: Much more user friendly search & filtering options. Make sure your profile is up to date so that folks can search for you by region, genre, industry and more!
Profile & Billing: Easy editing features and billing options, complete with reminders about payments and due dates.
MIA Member Discounts: Music Industry Association members are still offered a free membership to ECMA. Simply email [email protected] with your proof of MIA membership. Represented MIA’s include ANSMA, CBMIC, Music/Musique NB, Music NL, Music NS, and Music PEI.
Student Discount: Those who are under 18 and/or currently studying at a post secondary institution are eligible for our Student Discount. To receive your discount code, please send proof of your enrollment to [email protected] applies to Individual & Musical Group memberships only.
Newsletter Submission: Same process as always. Active members can find the newsletter submission link under Member Benefits.
NEW FEATURES
Member Events Calendar: ECMA wants to continue to offer our members ways to promote their upcoming concerts, album/singles releases, workshops and more. With an active membership, ECMA members can submit to our Events Calendar. Viewable by the public, and searchable by region and other filters, you can add your event for all to see.
- New Membership Categories: Keeping it simple is key. We’ve reduced our previous 10 membership categories to 5, including a brand new category for our East Coast Music fans.
Music Lover $20: This membership level is for folks who are big fans of East Coast Music. Be the first to hear about our events and support the best the East Coast has to offer. Non-voting or submitting membership. *Brand New*
Individual Membership (Artist or Industry) $50: Individual memberships are for those who are making their way through the industry solo. This includes solo musicians, and freelance industry members like Visual Artists or Technicians for hire. Previously: Individual, 2 year Individual, 5 year Individual, Lifetime Individual, Industry Professional
Small Business $75: Our Business membership is for local businesses within the music industry. This can include Venues, Non-Profits, and other small scale businesses. Previously : Non-Profit, Industry Professional
Musical Group $90: Our Musical Group membership is for all musical acts that consist of two or more people. Duos, Bands, Choirs, Orchestras, etc would all fall under the Musical Group level. Previously: Duo, Band
Corporate $200: Our Corporate membership is for the large players in the Music Industry. If your company is incorporated then this is the level for you. Previously Corporate
Perkopolis: Alongside our already established discounts, like Enterprise rentals, we are pleased to be adding Perkopolis. Perkopolis offers exclusive local and national savings across a wide variety of items and services. Great to use at home, or on the road!
