Lynn Horne Celebration of Life

Celebration of Life Event:
Please join us Sunday, February 24th, 2-5 PM, at the Marquee Club in Halifax, for a Celebration of Life for our friend Lynn Horne. This informal event will feature performances throughout the afternoon and the sharing of memories by Lynn's friends and family. All will be welcome and encouraged to share, Donation baskets will be in place for the Unison Benevolent Fund and Metastatic Breast Cancer Advocacy Canada, two causes that were very important and supportive to Lynn. Plan to stay downtown and let's eat together before we go our separate ways. Make a reservation in advance.

The East Coast Music Association is saddened to learn of the passing of Lynn Horne.

Lynn is an example of the very best of the music industry in Atlantic Canada. She was a passionate advocate for the East Coast music industry. She will be remembered as a person of incredible drive, unending tenacity, and a strong commitment to the artists and music of Atlantic Canada. In 2018 she was awarded the Dr. Helen Creighton Lifetime Achievement Award in Halifax, NS.

She cared deeply about the people behind the art, and always took the time to carefully listen to everyone she met. She will be greatly missed, our condolences go to her family and friends at this time of great loss.
